I was going for a run this morning and was thinking about what I could do for our Work Christmas Party this year.

Over the years I have already used the ideas and activities that are listed in our Christmas Party Ideas ePack and was wanting something a little different.

So this is what, as a team we have developed.

We are going to go out for a special lunch, however before we do each of us will head off by ourselves for a couple hours prior.

In this time, each of us needs to perform a Random Act of Kindness before the lunch. The idea is that each will choose a charity, person or act that resonates with ourselves as individuals. It could be that we mow the lawn for an elderly neighbour, help out at the animal shelter, pay for a srangers groceries. Whatever it is the focus is about helping someone who wasn't expecting to be helped.

As we do it each staff member will take a few photos of themselves completing the RAOK. During lunch we then get to share and hear one anothers stories and why they chose their act.
